The Valen, a part of the Aisen collection by Triple F.A.T. Goose, is a waterproof shell jacket designed to be a durable and high performance choice for inclement weather. The 3 layer performance shell provides a breathable, waterproof and windproof exterior, making this mens shell jacket ideal for high performance in all degrees of precipitation. Featuring water repellant zippers, seam sealing and a DWR coated waterproof fabrication, the Valen has been engineered to provide protection from the elements, while allowing sweat and heat to escape - providing all season breathability and water repelling performance. WATERPROOF SHELL The outer shell of the Valen rain jacket for men is made with a high-tech 3 layer bonded fabrication with a 20,000 mm waterproof rating. This shell allows the jacket to be durable, breathable and waterproof. HIGH GRADE YKK AQUAGUARD ZIPPERS Water-repelling YKK Aquaguard zippers prevent water seepage through the front center zipper (under placket) and pocket openings. SEAM SEALING To prevent moisture and water from seeping in, the Valen men’s waterproof jacket features heat sealing and waterproof taping along the seams. OTHER FEATURES WINDPROOF The Valen's durable fabrication is capable of blocking high winds while maintaining breathability. FLUORINE FREE DWR FINISH The performance shell of the Valen is treated with a DWR water repellent that is fluorine free. The DWR contains no PFOA, no PFOS and is formaldehyde-free. UNDER ARM ZIP VENTS For added breathability, YKK Aquaguard zippers located under each arm can be zipped open to create ventilation when you need to cool down.
